O.W.L. LED (Operational Warning Light)
Unpacking and Initial Setup:
Remove from Packaging:
Carefully remove the O.W.L. from its packaging. Do not use scissors or sharp objects that may accidentally damage the silicone cord or light housing.
Prepare for Use:
Gently pull back the rubber sleeve to expose the safety tab located in the battery compartment.
Carefully remove the safety tab to activate the battery connection.
How to Use:
Activate the Light:
Press the silicone button on the light to toggle through the three modes:
First Press: Steady illumination.
Second Press: Fast strobe.
Third Press: Slow flash.
Fourth Press: Turn off the light.
Enhanced Durability:
Slide the light into the protective rubber sleeve for added protection in rugged environments.
Attach the Light:
Use the flexible silicone cord to securely attach the light to your desired object, such as:
Traffic cones.
Backpacks.
Safety vests.
Belts or running gear.
Ensure the attachment is tight and stable before use.

Store the light in a cool, dry location when not in use.

How to Use
Prepare the Device:
Leave the clear safety pull tabs in the lights until ready for use to conserve battery life.
Activate Infrared Lights:
Remove the safety tab.
Press the button to activate the infrared light. The O.W.L. IR operates in a steady illumination mode (no strobe or flash).
Confirm Activation:
Use a night vision device or an infrared-sensitive camera in a dark environment to confirm activation.
If the rear camera of a smartphone does not detect the light, try the forward-facing camera.
A faint purple or red glow, visible through compatible devices, indicates that the device is on.
Deploy Strategically:
Attach to equipment, helmets, or other objects for optimal use.
Note: The O.W.L. IR is not designed to be physically attached to drones but can be detected by high-end drone cameras that can view infrared light.

Troubleshooting
The O.W.L. IR doesn’t seem to be turning on:
Check that the safety tab has been fully removed from the battery compartment.
Replace the CR2032 batteries if the device does not activate.
My drone camera is not detecting the O.W.L. IR:
Ensure your drone camera is equipped with high-end infrared capabilities.
Test the light in a dark environment to confirm activation using a night vision device or IR-sensitive camera.
I can’t confirm if the O.W.L. IR is on:
Use a smartphone’s camera in a dark environment. If the rear camera does not detect the light, try the front-facing camera.

The device stops working after a short time:
